Caswell Council for the Arts" is a 501(c)3non-profit organization.
The Caswell Council for the Arts has joined forces with a collection of organizations and merchants to all be open on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10am - 2pm.
Please join us and connect with others in the community, visit our gallery exhibit, check out the Richmond-Miles History Museum and the Maud Gatewood Art Museum, take a stroll through the Arboretum, stop into the library to check out a good book and shop and have lunch downtown.
There will also be a showing of the local documentary "Prolific Icons" at 11 am and 12:30 pm. One of the producers from Caswell History Speaks will be on hand to answer questions at the end of each showing.
The 5k Ignite Your Transformation run will also be taking place. It's a color run! At each half mile mark, Color Runners are doused from head to toe in different colored powder. Participants wear white at the starting line and finish the race plastered in color. The race will start at Bartlett Yancey High School at 10am, and will finish at the Park & Rec Center were we will continue to party, and shop from local vendors. For more information or to register to run please visit https://runsignup.com/Race/NC/Yanceyville/IgniteYourTransformation
