The Caswell Council for the Arts in partnership with the Caswell County Schools is pleased to present our 41st annual student art show. All students grades K-12 living in and/or attending school in Caswell County are eligible to submit work for consideration. The show will be on display at the Caswell Council for the Arts and will include original works of art in 2D and 3D. This is a juried show, which means that entries must be accepted for inclusion. Prizes will be awarded for each age category (K-2, 3-5, Middle School, and High School). The number of prizes awarded will be determined by the number of entries received.
The show will hang from April 23rd – May 21st. Due to Covid concerns, there is no in-person reception or awards ceremony scheduled this year. The exhibit will be viewable during gallery hours Mon, Wed. and Fri 10am – 2pm, and also on Sat. May 8; 10am – 2pm and Wed. May 12th and 19th 10am until 7:30pm.
Guidelines for entry:
All students attending Caswell County public schools must submit work through the art teacher at their school. Students living in Caswell County who do not attend Caswell public schools can deliver work: to the Caswell Council for the Arts – Lee Fowlkes Gallery
125 Main St. (across from the Post office), Yanceyville, NC on Mon, Wed, or Fri beginning April 12th – April 21st from 10am – 2pm or during other hours by appointment
All entries must be original works of art. No kits or copies of other artists' work will be accepted. Photography will not be included in this show.

Framing is not required. Pieces should be attached to light cardboard such as poster board – or Cereal box weight to assist with proper hanging and display.
Artwork can be picked up after the exhibit the week of May 26th Mon, Wed, and Fri 10am – 2pm or by appointment.
