Due to school cancellation related to health risks of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Caswell County Student Art Show has been cancelled this year.  We are sad to miss celebrating our students this year, and send our best to all of the students, teachers, and administrators during this challenging time.

The Caswell Council for the Arts is proud to partner with the Caswell County Public Schools to offer this Annual Student Art Show for all Caswell County Students.  This Juried show seeks to find the best work created in our classrooms, and to recognize, reward, and encourage artistic talent and inspiration in our youth.  The show includes students from K-12, and accepts work in 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional categories.  The opening reception will be held at the Caswell Civic Center on April 29th from 6:30 - 8:00PM.  It is open to the public, and includes an awards ceremony honoring the winners of the competition.  All are invited to attend.

Students attending Caswell County Schools will submit work in partnership with their art teachers at school.  Other Caswell County residents grade K-12 who do not attend Caswell County Schools may submit work for consideration to the Caswell Council for the Arts at 43 W. Main St. Yanceyville, NC on April 21st or 22nd between 10am - 2pm or by appointment.  Work will be reviewed by a jury, who will choose which pieces to enter into the art show on April 24th.  The show will then be juried, with cash prizes available to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each category (K-2; 3-5, middle, and high school).

If you or your child or student wishes to submit work for the show, please fill out the registration here and bring artwork during the designated times listed above.  If none of the set times are available, please give us a call and we will be happy to set up a time with you that works best.
